Fit and Proper 0.27.0 rebuilds certification as Certification Arcade: fifty short skill programs inspired by late-1990s and early-2000s shareware, diagnostic disks, and desktop toys.
Every filing now assigns two programs. One verifies the machine or software identity. The other reconstructs its return. Clear both, collect their visible clue packets, and return to DOCKET to issue the supported certificate—or record the specific deficiency established by the evidence.
Fifty programs, not fifty reskins
Signal Lock ’98 is a four-channel timing game. Return Pinball 2000 uses a real 120 Hz table simulation, flippers, bumpers, and three return samples. PAR Paytable Drop combines chute steering with an amber filing window. Later software adds racers, bowling, artillery, target galleries, tile games, rhythm lanes, and stranger old-desktop experiments.
Programs unlock across the ten-day appointment. New software starts as a forgiving Install Trial, then returns at Casual, Skilled, Expert, and Night Shift difficulty. The Program Library records stars, high scores, combos, and perfect clears; free play never changes an active ruling.
Clues that tell you what they prove
A clear now names the evidence it retained, the deficiency category it can support, and what remains before the filing desk opens. Two earned packets lead to one concrete DOCKET recommendation. Runs are shorter, retries are free, and focus loss pauses the cabinet.
