Who we are
Wizards Studio is the original-games label of Wizards. This website is operated for the label by Global Wizards LLC. In this notice, “Wizards Studio,” “we,” and “us” refer to that studio operation.
Information processed
When you visit
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. As with most internet services, technical request data may be processed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain security. This can include an IP address, request time, requested path, referring page, browser or device information, and security signals.
Privacy-first website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated traffic and performance information such as page views, country, referring host, device type, browser, operating system, and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. It does not use analytics cookies, and its Web Analytics service does not currently log URL query strings.
When you contact support or the studio
When you submit the dedicated form, we process the name, email address, topic, message, and consent confirmation you provide, plus limited request metadata needed for security and rate limiting. Do not include passwords, payment information, government identifiers, health information, or unrelated personal files.
What this site does not collect
The site currently has no user accounts, checkout, payment-card collection, advertising profiles, or newsletter signup. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security cookies if a protection feature requires them.
Fit and Proper game data
The current 0.27.0 Web, Windows, and Linux builds are offline, single-player games. They store the personnel-file details you enter or select—such as a name, title, sex filing, handedness and built-in portrait—together with settings, decisions, arcade mastery and progress on your device. You can use a fictional name. Browser saves remain in that browser's local storage and may be erased by private browsing, blocked storage, or clearing site data.
The current build has no Wizards Studio telemetry, advertising, in-game account, external AI call or live AI generation. Steam, itch.io, your operating system, security software, or an optional platform feature may process account, download, diagnostic, backup or cloud-save information under its own settings and privacy notice.
Fit and Proper 0.27.0 is publicly available as an in-development beta on itch.io. Steam Cloud is not yet enabled or publicly claimed. We recheck each release build and will update this notice if its data behavior changes.
How information is used
We use information only to:
- deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
- understand site reliability and performance in aggregate;
- answer game-support, press, and studio messages;
- investigate abuse, security reports, or legal claims; and
- meet legal obligations that apply to us.
Local Fit and Proper data supports your personnel file, preferences, progress and save/resume behavior. The game does not send that local data to Wizards Studio in the current build. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the steps you ask us to take or your consent when replying to a message, and on legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. We do not use contact messages for unrelated marketing unless you separately request it.
Service providers and external stores
Cloudflare provides DNS, content delivery, security, Workers hosting, operational logging, rate limiting, and privacy-first Web Analytics. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Web Analytics description.
Resend provides email delivery for the dedicated contact form. The message and its email metadata pass through Resend so they can be delivered to Wizards Studio. See Resend’s privacy policy.
Links to Steam, itch.io, Wizards, and other external services take you to services with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information there.
Providers may process data in the United States and other locations where they operate. Their contractual and legal safeguards govern those transfers.
Retention and security
We keep support and studio correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain an issue history, resolve disputes, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. Cloudflare and Resend retain operational data according to their services, settings, and policies. We periodically review information that is no longer needed.
We use HTTPS, restrictive browser-security headers, input validation, origin checks, rate limiting, and access controls appropriate to this small website. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and complain to your local data-protection authority.
Send a privacy request through the contact route below. Describe the email address or interaction involved and the request you are making. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request concerns you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children’s information
The website and support route are intended for a general audience and are not designed to collect children’s personal information. Do not submit a child’s personal information without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the site, game-support workflow, providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will show the latest published version. Material changes will be explained on this page or through another appropriate notice.
